AFLDP Terms of Service
and Disclaimer
All Florida Legal Document Preparation Company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is not a law firm and does not act as your attorney. Our informational and legal document preparation services are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.
We do not provide legal advice and may provide only self-help document preparation services at your specific direction. We are not authorized to practice law and cannot advise, explain, opine, or make recommendations concerning legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, form selection, or legal strategies.
Use of this website or our services does not create an attorney-client relationship. You are representing yourself in any legal matter for which you use our services.
SCOPE OF DOCUMENT PREPARATION SERVICES
As part of our services, we may review your responses for completeness, spelling, grammar, and internal consistency, including consistency among names, addresses, and similar information. Although we proofread documents for typographical errors before delivery, you remain solely responsible for reviewing the completed documents and identifying any errors or omissions.
As a matter of policy, we will make corrections and minor revisions at no additional charge, subject to the terms stated below. We do not review your information for legal sufficiency, draw legal conclusions, provide legal advice, or apply the law to the facts of your situation.
If you require legal advice or your matter is complex, you should consult a licensed attorney in your area.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not responsible for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage arising from or related to your use of this website, our services, or any website linked from this website. This limitation includes losses arising from errors or omissions in website content, interruptions or unavailability of the website, or any other use of the website. Your use of this website and our services is at your own risk.
TURNAROUND TIME
We generally deliver completed documents within three to five (3–5) calendar days after receiving all facts and information required to prepare them. We may complete documents sooner; however, an earlier delivery date is not guaranteed unless you purchase Rush Delivery and we agree to the requested deadline.
For an Answer or another time-sensitive document, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your deadline. Although we aim to complete and return Answers within three (3) calendar days, this timeframe is not guaranteed.
QUESTIONNAIRES/INTAKE FORMS
In addition to an initial telephone conference, we collect information through a questionnaire or intake form sent after payment is submitted through our website. Please answer every question as completely and accurately as possible. If a question does not apply, enter “N/A.”
Handwritten questionnaires may be returned with a request that they be typed and may result in charges beyond the quoted flat fee.
REVISIONS AND CORRECTIONS
You are responsible for promptly proofreading your documents, verifying all facts, and confirming that the documents are accurate and complete. If you identify an error, contact us as soon as possible. We will correct preparation errors and resend the documents at no additional charge.
Minor revisions are generally provided without charge; however, we determine, in our sole discretion, whether a requested revision is minor. Requests submitted more than thirty (30) days after delivery may be subject to additional charges, including requests that otherwise might have qualified as minor.
Please review your documents thoroughly and, whenever possible, submit all requested corrections at one time. Although we strive to prepare accurate documents, human and software errors may occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website, its owners, and document preparers providing services through it are not responsible for mistakes, errors, or omissions in prepared documents.
DOCUMENT STORAGE
Unless otherwise required by law, we have no obligation to retain your documents. As a courtesy, we generally retain electronic copies for up to thirty (30) days after delivery, but retention is not guaranteed.
If you request revisions or corrections more than thirty (30) days after preparation, we may agree to perform the work.
PAYMENTS
First-time customers must pay all document preparation fees in advance through this website. Upon request, we may accept payment through Google Pay or Zelle. Please contact us in advance if you require another payment method, such as a money order or Western Union, so that we may determine whether it can be accommodated.
Established customers may, at our discretion, be permitted to pay after work is completed. In that event, we will advise you of the amount due based on recorded time and send a payment request when the documents are ready. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice, and documents will not be released until payment is received. In limited circumstances, and solely at our discretion, we may allow established customers to pay after receiving their documents.
COURT FILING FEES
Court filing fees are not included in our document preparation fees. Filing fees are separate and must be paid directly to the appropriate clerk of court when the documents are filed.
PAYMENT PROCESSING AND AUTHORIZATION
Payments submitted through this website will appear on your credit or debit card statement under the name “All Florida Legal Document Preparation Company.” Our current third-party payment processor is Stripe, although we may use a different processor in the future.
By submitting payment, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the credit or debit card provided. If you have a billing or service dispute, you must contact us promptly and provide a reasonable opportunity to address the matter. You must not characterize an authorized transaction as unauthorized. Knowingly making a false claim of unauthorized use may constitute fraud. Our services involve documents custom-prepared for your circumstances.
REFUNDS
Except as expressly stated, all payments are final. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes promptly and amicably.
Document preparation work is considered to have begun when we collect information from you verbally or send you a form or questionnaire for the purpose of collecting information.
If you inadvertently overpay, we will refund the excess amount so that you pay only the correct fee. Our payment system may prevent us from issuing the refund until the following day.
CUSTOMER AGREEMENT
FIRST-TIME CUSTOMERS
We may answer preliminary questions before you decide to use our services; however, our service obligations begin only after payment is received. If prepayment telephone or email inquiries require an unreasonable amount of time, we may require immediate payment before continuing. We may also notify you that future calls or correspondence will be billed.
PRIVACY
We do not retain customer data except as described in the Document Storage section above. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, and we do not have access to your complete credit card information.
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit, contact, or provide services to anyone under eighteen (18) years of age, even if that person submits a request.
We do not sell, rent, or share customers’ contact or personal information with third parties, except as necessary to process payments, provide requested services, comply with applicable law, or protect our legal rights.
